About us
Jambuia is a beverage brand inspired by and created in honor of a very special woman who passed away in March 2022, named Iara. Iara was a very caring and loving person who believed in unity and the importance of family. She was always by the side of those she loved and was the kind of person who fought for everyone's rights and valued the peace of those she didn't even know.
Being a person who is also very connected to nature, the rooms in Iara's house were always full of plants. When entering her home, for a second it was possible to feel like you were in the Amazon. Through its green decor, you could notice the diversity of nature and the comfort it brings, especially when everything was being cared for with great love by Iara herself.
Upon realizing the great love that Iara had for nature and for loving Brazilian culture so much, Iara's sister went looking for a way to keep it alive and honored, thus creating Jambuia.
Jambuia is the heart of Iara still beating in our world.

The Jambu
Jambu is an herb native to the Amazon, very common in northern Brazil and typically used in the cuisine of Paraná, and is also known as “Pará watercress”. Its biggest distinguishing feature is the effect it has when it comes into contact with the mouth, causing a tremor in the lips and tongue of those who consume it, thanks to a chemical substance present in the plant, called spilanthol.
When drinking Jambuia beverages, you should let the liquid run through your mouth. This makes the burning, tingling and numbing effect that Jambu offers even more intense and gives you an even more intense experience.
There are several benefits to consuming the herb, including antibacterial properties and the activation of saliva production, which helps combat dry mouth and the appearance of possible mouth ulcers. In addition, Jambu is a great source of fiber (and is recommended for diabetics) and also contains vitamin C (necessary for strengthening hair and nails).
There are already studies that prove that the plant helps prevent cell aging and DNA damage. In addition, it can also be used as an anti-inflammatory, diuretic, appetite stimulant, analgesic, sexual stimulant, among other functions.

Ingredients:
- Jambuia Amazon Cachaça (50ml)
- Lemon juice (20ml)
- Sugar syrup (20ml)
- Angostura Bitter (2 dashes)
- Ginger beer (Complete)
Preparation method:
Blend the Cachaça Jambuia Amazônia with the lemon juice, sugar syrup and angostura bitters, and then add
to a 300 ml glass. Fill the glass with
Ginger Beer and ice and enjoy the experience.

Jambuia Iara Gin
Name of the drink: Jambuia Iara Fitz (by Allyson Brito)
Ingredients:
- Jambuia Iara Gin (50ml)
- Lemon juice (20ml)
- Sugar syrup (20ml)
- Angostura Bitter (2 dashes)
- Ginger foam
Preparation method:
Mix the Jambuia Iara Gin with the lemon juice, syrup
of sugar and angostura bitter, and then add
to a 300 ml glass. Fill the glass with foam
ginger and ice and enjoy the experience.
